A MAD MEN THEME PARTY

By , 16/09/2011 5:19 pm

Here’s something I don’t do often. A pity coz it’s so much fun. It’s a hen party…and not any ordinary one. This is Mad Men inspired. The beautiful Lorna had her friends all come decked in 1950s outfit. Plenty of fun and mischievousness for the whole night.

HIGH KEY. FLARE. B&W

High key. Flare. B&W.

I was just thinking of these ‘keywords’ when I was with Jon and Christel last week in Penang. I was out to capture their playfulness. Never mind if the images were a bit out of focus or had motion blur. It just adds to the high energy moment. They were keen to work with me to get these images. Awesome sport, the both of them. Besides, it was the last bit of their pre-weddding shoot so it was a let-the-hair-down time!

I’ll post more pictures in a bit.

A few pictures from Ignatius and Mui Ling’s pre wedding shoot last month. We happened to be in Penang in the same weekend so we decided to take a few shots around town.

More of such images can be seen in my Wedding Photography webpage or in the Pre-Wedding Photography category of this blog.

Viva la Paris!

Anxiously looking forward to John and Yanleen’s shoot in Paris, end June. I’m also praying that the swine flu will not take a turn for the worse and jeopardize our trip. So far, we’ve planned for a 2-day shoot around Paris starting from the Arc du Triomphe and heading south-east, while taking some time to drop by Montmartre, where Amelie hails. Love the movie so I definitely have to check it out.

I planned the itinerary with Google Maps, realizing how much I’ve underestimated the software. Amazing piece of work! Here’re the shoot locations. The colours denote different dates.  Continue reading 'Viva la Paris!'»
